The trail is 3.5 km long. The trail passes past the tunnel warehouses and leads to the Astangu alvar. The trail also passes the Soone stream rapid. Because climbing the limestone shore is somewhat difficult, the Astangu alvar can also be reached via simpler path – via Moonalao Street.
