The Old Town of Tallinn is surrounded by a green belt of beautiful parks and wonderful gardens around Toompea hill. If you look at the Old Town from high up it forms the shape of a heart. This indeed is the Green Heart of the City. It offers many opportunities to walk around old parks and to step away from the bustle of the city centre. In addition the Green Heart boasts some of the oldest trees in Tallinn.
