Lush greenery around a river

This lush protection area hides a variety of landscapes around the river: terraces, outcrops and forests. Around 650 plant species grow in the area and over 120 species of birds have been counted there. The Tallinn Botanical Garden is also situated in the protection area. In addition the Forest Cemetery – final resting place of the nation’s luminaries- is situated just across the road from the Botanical Garden.
