A very rare flowering plant in Estonia; a Caryophyllaceous that grows on the southern border of its habitat. They are protected (protection category I) and belongs in the category of very endangered species in the Estonian Red Book of 2008. In Tallinn, they can be found in the cracks and fractures of Lasnamäe limestone shore; height 5–15 (20) cm. Their numbers are decreasing because of human activity (treading, polluting, damaging the soil, removing from its habitat).
