Ravens can be seen in Estonia throughout the year. They also have the same plumage throughout the year. This means that its regular and breeding plumage are the same. Additionally, the male and female birds are quite similar except old male birds are a little bit bigger than females. Ravens can be seen everywhere: starting from cultivated landscapes and ending with deep forests. They are very adaptable birds and can cope everywhere. They can live up to 15 years. Ravens are bandits by nature. They even start building their nests before other birds so they could bring the eggs of other birds as food for their chicks. They mostly feed on other birds and small mammals, as well as carcass and plants. They do not have natural enemies, because they are careful and clever birds, who can always escape danger.
