The solid-tubered corydalis (Corydalis solida) is an impressive spring bloomer found in herb-rich forest areas. Soon after blooming, the above-ground parts of the plant wither away, leaving only the tuber and produced seeds hidden in the soil.
In Helsinki, the solid-tubered corydalis grows on the Pihlajasaari islands and Seurasaari island, in the Ruutinkoski conservation area, Mustavuori and around manor houses.
