At the turn of May and June, the duckboard trail to Lammassaari island is lined by beautiful, white cuckoo flowers (Cardamine pratensis). Cuckoo flowers grow in wet habitats and are easy to spot, though only for a short period. The edible cuckoo flower tastes similar to watercress.
